    Agent Information
    I have lived in the Fargo area since 1972. I received my real estate license in 1989 and my broker’s license in 1999. I’m married to my husband Jeff, who has been working at Case IH for the past 34 years. He has just recently gotten his real estate license and will be assisting me with open houses and marketing. He is the quality control manager at CNH, so he is valuable asset. We have two grown daughters and two grandsons. We have been very fortunate in our life, as both of our daughters live close by so we get to see our adorable boys often.

    When I’m not working on real estate (and it seems I always am –I like to travel, decorate, be outside, and enjoy my family at our cabin at the lakes. I Love My Job! So much so that my husband decided to get his real estate license and have fun too!

    I started my real estate career at the largest company in the area in 1989. I learned so much from that company. I soon learned that my clients (buyers and sellers) were calling me not the company I was at. I thought to myself how can I offer them even more? That was when I decided to check out other companies. Realty Executives North Plains was the answer. I no longer needed to be at a company with a revolving door of new agents, which gets expensive! Real Estate is always changing and consumers need more choices. They also deserve experienced agents that offered excellent service. I want to allow them that. With everything on the internet now, buyers are becoming more sophisticated with what’s out there but nothing beats good service and the help of a well informed real estate agent. I can offer them my expertise and save them money, which will give them more buying power if they are purchasing a new home.

    When I first go to a seller’s home – I find out what your needs are: your time frame, cash on hand for repairs and where you are going from here. After that first assessment I then start the “Market Evaluation”. I like to walk through each room with you and let you tell me your thoughts (just like you were going to buy your own home.) I offer staging suggestions, repairs –along with names of service people that my previous sellers have used and liked and also find out how involved you want to be. That is the beginning – I am with you through to the end. Once a prospective buyer makes an offer, I look over all the written documentation that is required. I make notes of what needs to be accomplished from both parties to complete the transaction. I make out a sample net sheet for you to see what your net proceeds will be, but in the end it is your decision to decide if this is the offer you would like to accept or work with. As an agent for you, the seller I am on your side. I will offer you my expertise, opinions or suggestions. I will be with you at the closing. There is much to do from the beginning to the end – I am there to do the “in-between” work to meet the end result. I will share with you all comments from prospective buyers and their agents, the marketing, what has sold along the way, and keep you posted at all times.

    Yeah! I love to work with Buyers! First off –let's get you or pre-approved to find out how much you can spend or are willing to spend on your new home. Once this is established we can find out what your needs are. Why are you buying a new home? What are you looking for in a new home? Where would you like to live? These are questions you may not be able to answer right away or you may change your mind along the way. Once you decide on what type of “agent” you need. The house shopping begins. I have found that there are many different client/buyers that are when my expertise becomes in to play. I find out your expectations and meet them. My job is to find the best home for you and I promise you I will do my very best to do just that!

    This is a career that longevity does play a part in. I have many previous clients/customers that have referred their family and friends to me. I have worked with several generations from the same family. Past clients are so important to this business. Name recognition is also important. I feel I have the respect of other agents and agencies. I am involved in many of our local and regional activities. I find education is very important in my career and try to attend as many classes as possible. I have been active in relocation company’s policies and referral networks. I have contact with many large companies in our area and try to send listings, information regarding real estate and want to know their Human Resource policies. What I am saying is: I do love my job and I think that shows. I am not trying to be the largest company or the top producing agent in my city. I am trying to give good service, to get the job done, and to treat people the way I would want to be treated when making one of the biggest decisions in their financial life.
